Born Dec. 19, 1986, in Bradenton, he was a son of Gilbert Valdez Jr. and Sylvia Valadez Perez.
Survivors also include his fiancée, Ashley Littlefield and their son, Isaiah Matthew Valdez; his brother, Rocky Palacios; his sister, Crystal Palacios; aunts, Juanita Pena, Celia Valdez, and Rosy Baker; uncles, , Gene Ray, Johnny and Isaias Valdez; grandparents, Gloria and Gilbert Valdez; and Johnny’s second brother, Biggs.
John was a devoted father, and a loving and caring son. He graduated from Southeast High School on May 25, 2004. He enjoyed fishing, watching wrestling, and spending time with family and friends. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He had a special bond with his grandmother, who will miss him greatly.
The family will receive friends from 5-7:00 pm on Thursday, Dec. 11 , 2014, at Manasota Funeral Home.
A funeral service will be conducted at 12:00 pm on Friday at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Manasota Memorial Park.
