Wayne served in the United States Marine Corp. He spent the first half of his life in Connecticut and Massachusetts relocating to Bradenton in 1994. He worked in construction sales for most of his career. He was very involved with the Anna Maria Privateers’ a local non- profit support group for Manatee county and island youth programs. Where he was known as “Wolverine”
He is survived by his two loving sons Dallas Tyler Collins and Brandon Collins. He is preceded in death by his parents John & Margaret Collins.

A full honors military funeral will be held Friday, February 15, 2019, at 10:30 am at the Sarasota National Cemetery, 9810 State Road 72, Sarasota, FL 34241. A celebration of life will be held Saturday February 9, 2019, at 5:30 pm at Coquina Beach by the Anna Maria Privateers’.
