Karynne was born on December 7, 1953, in Greenfield, Massachusetts, to William H. Rigney, Jr. and Eleanor Lambert Rigney. Shortly after she was born, her family relocated to Florida, where she would grow to build a life full of love, and nature. She attended Manatee High School and graduated with the Class of 1972. After highschool, Karynne discovered a lifelong passion for plants and teaching people how to care for them. She had a special gift for growing plants, and nothing brought her more joy than caring for her beloved orchids. In addition to her green thumb, Karynne shared her beautiful voice with all the locals of Bradenton, singing for her loyal fans for many years. Later in life, she followed another creative passion—jewelry making. She crafted unique pieces by hand and proudly sold her work at local farmers markets and craft shows throughout the community.
Karynne is survived by her loving husband, William “Bill” Eddie Apple; her three sons, and three grandchildren: Kirk “Tiger” Wildasin and his wife Suzanne, along with their son Kirk; Kalan Lee Wildasin and his wife Mandi, along with their children Kinslee “Maisie Duke” and Jack; and Klint Allen Wildasin and his wife Heather. She is also survived by her sisters, Kathleen Louise Kejzlar and her husband Vratislav, and Melissa Lynn Evans and her husband Bob—plus many, many more nieces, nephews, and cousins who only added more love and joy to her life.
Karynne will be remembered for her beautiful soul, warmth, vibrant spirit, and the deep love she held
for her family. Her legacy will live on in the hearts and lives of those she touched. Funeral service will be held at Robert Toale & Sons at Manasota Memorial Park, located at 1221 53rd Ave. East, Bradenton, FL 34203, in the Magnolia Park at 10:00 AM.
A Celebration of Life Reception will follow at the Fraternal Order of Eagles, located
