Larry “LG” R. Goings, Sr. age 74 of Bradenton, FL, formerly of Waldorf, Maryland, passed away August 30, 2017. He was born November 26, 1942 in Winston Salem, North Carolina. Larry was a proud business owner in the Lawn Care industry for many years. He was also a member of Disabled American Veterans, Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary and the Elks and he also enjoyed singing and sports. Larry is survived by his wife, Ellen Goings; children, Loree (Rick) Manna, and Larry (Shannon) Goings, Jr.; granddaughter, Kandece (Greg) Magac; great grandchildren, Mason, Maddox and Maxwell Magac; his brothers, Cecil (Judy), David (Teri), and Robert; sisters, Wanda (Alvis), Ludy, and Dottie (Mark); and sisters-in-law, Carol, and Denise (Gary). He is preceded in death by his brother, Gary; and his sisters, Carolyn, and Johnnie Mae. A celebration of life will be held at Bayshore Windmill Village clubhouse on Saturday September 16th from 12pm until 4pm. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to a charity of your choice.
