You were such a wonderful person to know as a Whitmore. I got to know your mother Elenor. I had been to Gordonsville with my parents, Hazel Whitmore Higgins and Robert Higgins. I wish I would have had more time to connect with you but that is not to be. My sympathy to Larry and Anne whom I will be writing soon. Blessings be on all of thee as you lay Laura to rest. Hugs, Carol Elizabeth Higgins

Laura and I were roommates in college. She was always such a fun person and so talented. Through the years we managed to keep in touch by emails and facebook. We always sent each other Christmas cards. I am going to miss her. She was so proud of her family. She would send me pictures of her granddaughter and was so proud of all of her accomplishments. RIP Laura.

First I would like to send hugs and peace to Laura’s family. I am so sorry that you are going thru this‼️‼️ As I have stated before Laura and I started 1st grade to together and finished 12 years of school. She was the cutest little girl in first grade such a sweet memory. I lost close contact after we finished school only seeing her a few times over the years. You never really lose contact thou because you put those people in your heart to be always a friend. Rest In Peace Laura and I am so glad to have known you. You will always be in my heart my friend.

I worked with Laura 26+ years at the Manatee County Public Library System. The year after I joined the System my husband Alan and I threw a Halloween Party for the staff at our house. I remember Laura and Larry coming to that party. Over the years Laura and I had many conversations. She was a creative lovely woman and I will miss her comments on my photos on Facebook.

I am remembering all of the good times together, scrapbooking, laughing, and sharing stories! I will miss you, especially at the times when we should be together having fun and you aren't there! I know you will be watching over all of your scrapbooking buddies!
