Margie Thomas passed away September 18, 2019 at 104 years old. She was born in Arkansas. She lived in South Haven, MI for decades and in 1995 she moved to Bradenton. The last four years she lived in Greenbriar Nursing Home in Bradenton where she enjoyed life and made several friends.
As a child and into her adult life she picked cotton in Arkansas and in Michigan she worked at a factory where she made various picture frames.
She was Pentecostal and that was an important part of her life.
She is survived by her daughter Diane Pagano of Bradenton. Her son Bob Thomas of Sarasota. Sisters Hazel Smith of Missouri and LaVonnye Metcalf (Jimmy) of Oregon. Her grandchildren Gina, Tina, James, David, Jeremiah, Shawn and Heather. Five great grandchildren and two great, great grandchildren.
She was proceeded in death by her loving husband, Robert Thomas and son Gary, nine brothers and one sister, her parents Minnie and James Brooks and her grandchild Mark David Thomas.
