Known as Raquel, she was an excellent cook and enjoyed preparing meals for her family and friends. She had a great sense of humor and loved to tell jokes at family gatherings.
Raquel had an unwavering faith in God. She was a member of Iglesia Rios de Agua Viva. Her prayers were always for her children and grandchildren to know and serve God. Her favorite Bible verse was Ephesians 2:8-10. Raquel was predeceased by her loving husband of 45 years, Socorro Guevara. She is survived by her children Beatriz, Eulogia, Maria del Socorro, Jose Francisco, Raquel, Abel, Maria Teresa & Lizy. She had twenty-three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Monday, May 23, 2016 at 5pm Manasota Memorial Park and Funeral Home in Bradenton, FL.
