Mary Virginia Morrow "JINI", 98, was called home by the Lord on October 8th, 2025. She was born November 11, 1926, almost making her 99th birthday. Jini was pre-deceased by her husband of 63 years, Richard R. Morrow and one son, David Mark. She is survived by her children Linda E. (Dan) Smith, Richard T. (Carole), and Susan D. Thompson (Jim Pink), 9 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She Cherished her grands and great grands and was a stickler on sending cards for every occasion.
Jini was originally from Indianapolis, IN, snow-birded to Florida for 30 years and permanently moved to Bradenton in 2014. She had many friends, taught water aerobics, attended chair yoga and went to a weekly support group "shifting sands" at Long Boat Island Chapel where she was a member. She drove other members to church, the support group, and to lunch. This was one of the highlights in her life. Another was her art. She was an avid painter who loved watercolor. Some of her paintings still hang in the club house where they lived on Long Boat Key. Jini was a selfless and loving woman who would do anything for anyone and she will be greatly missed.
