Born December 28, 1940 in Detroit, Michigan, Nancy lived most of her life in Bradenton. She was a Nurse (LPN) at VA Hospitals in Ann Arbor, Michigan and St. Petersburg and at Manatee Memorial Hospital, and did private duty nursing.
She was predeceased by her father Warren Thomas and stepfather Edmond Johnson, brother Bill Thomas and daughter Gina Westbrook. She is survived by her mother, Georgia Johnson, children Mark (Cheryl), Richard (Kim) and Daniel Westbrook, and Elaina (Lee) Mills, brother Richard (Donna) Thomas, sisters Patricia (Donald) Ranta and Sandra (Dale) Weidemiller, 13 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
Services will be held Wednesday March 24, 2010 at Manasota Memorial Funeral Home, 1221 53rd Avenue East, Bradenton, Florida 34203. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Meals on Wheels or Alzheimer's Association .
