Pat was a dear friend and co-worker, and I viewed her like my adoptive grandparents, especially before mine moved to DE to be with their family. She also shared a birthday with my grandfather, who was my hero, so that was always a nice connection. She was truly a kind and compassionate woman, and made all of the JA Team and guests feel welcomed by her presence.

Pat worked for Junior Achievement in Wilmington, Delaware, where she supported the program team, and where I served as the organization's leader. She was a bright light in an office of about 20 or so people. It would be a rare day that you could walk by her desk, that she didn't have a smile or word of encouragement for you. Indeed, she had a radiant smile that  accompanied her large, bright eyes which  lit up any room she entered. I think her outward presence represented the inner strength, kindness and integrity that was Pat Walker. Pat was always ready to help. No job was too hard or too insignificant. If she was ask to participate, she jumped in and helped in any way she could. She was loved by all for her warm heart and compassion. Always a kind word or a reassuring look was at her fingertips. Our world was a better place because Pat was a part of it. She will be sorely missed.

To the Walker Family....So sorry for your loss my thoughts and prayers are with you all. I worked with Pat at the Manatee Association of Realtors...She was truly a joy to work with, a kind and loving person who would do anything for you and a good friend.  She would always talk about her family with me  whom she loved very much...I will truly miss her!!!!.

My deepest condolences to the family of Pat Walker.   I had the privilege of working with Pat at the Manatee Association of Realtors and  she was a remarkable gift to the organization and to the staff.   

Always talking about her grandchildren and sharing a glimpse of the collector “Hess” cars and trucks she picked up every year at Christmas.
