Peter Gregory Maioriello 39 years old passed away at home on Sept 3, 2026 with his parents at his side. He is survived by his parents, Paul and Anna Marie Maioriello, his sister Tara and her husband Derrick De Candia, beloved nephew Dylan, and Nanna Marion Dellanno. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Peter is predeceased by his pop-pop, Tom Dellanno and his paternal grandparents, Pietro and Angela Maioriello and his dog, Daisy. Born in Freehold, NJ and raised in Manalapan, NJ he graduated from Manalapan High School. Peter had a love for sports especially soccer and basketball bringing determination, teamwork and a competitive spirit to every game. He also loved playing computer games and riding his motorcycle. He was a loyal and trusted friend. In 2005 he moved with his family to Florida and graduated from USF with a Bachelor’s in Applied Sciences. He worked a number of different jobs until his accident in 2019. The family would like to thank his Aunt Donna Long who was a big asset over the 6 1/2 years he was being cared for at home with delicious dinners and unselfishly giving of her time to help the family care for him. Peter will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered always. A mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, Sept 29, 2026 at 11am at Our Lady of the Angels, 12905 State Road 70 East, Lakewood Ranch. Internment will be private.
