She and her late husband resided in Bradenton for many years after moving here from Buffalo, New York.
She is survived by her sister, Giatana (Tanina) Giambertoni of Palermo, Sicily. Additionally, she is survived by her daughters Elizabeth (Betty) Balluzzo of Parrish, Florida, Tanina (Robert) DeWald of Sarasota, Florida, Irene (Thomas) Whipkey of Ellenton, Florida and Teresa (Edward) Bell residing in Rome, New York. She will be deeply missed by her 13 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Thursday, December 22, 2011 from 9:30 am to 11:30 am at Manasota Funeral Home, 1221 53rd Avenue, East in Bradenton, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 12:45 pm at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 3100 26th Street West in Bradenton. Interment will be at Manasota Memorial Park following the Mass.
