Passed away unexpectedly on Monday, May 9, 2016. Stanley, 78, was born in Chester, PA and started his work life as a deck hand on the Chester, PA to Bridgeport, NJ Ferry, working his way up and eventually getting his pilot license. “Stan” was soon piloting the ferry across the Delaware River as “The Captain”. He moved to Bradenton with his family in 1976 and retired from Tropicana in 1997. A long-time Christ follower, Stan loved his God, his family, and everyone else! He is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years, Fayette; children, Brian Boyer, Kimberly Bleick, and Kerry Boyer; grandchildren Dylan, Alyssa, Brittany, Faith, and Jarred; and siblings Jimmy, Dot, and Audrey.
