Born March 10, 1953, in Canton, OH, he was a son of the late Richard Lee Barnett, and is survived by his mother, Naomi Bennett Barnett, of Zanesville, OH.
He was a member of the 53rd Ave Church of Christ, and was a dedicated classic country music guitarist.
Survivors also include two daughters, Kristal Saunders, of Sarasota, and Amanda Barnett-McLean (Scott), of Nashville, TN; his brother, Daniel Barnett, of North Port, FL; and a granddaughter, Harmony McLean.
A remembrance service will be conducted at 10:00 am on Nov. 28, 2014, at the 53rd Ave Church of Christ, with Lon Schindler and Rodney Myers officiating.
In lieu of flowers, Mark requested donations to the new church sign fund at 53rd Ave Church of Christ.
