Born June 29, 1932, in Haddon Heights, New Jersey. He was an active member of the Masonic Lodge and Shrinedom.
Survivors also include his son, William P. (Eileen) Caraker; daughter, Linda (Brian) Dovey; his extended family, Debra Roth, Russell (Theresa) Smith, Jeffrey (Cheryl) Smith, Cindy (Bob) Chippendale, Cris (Julie) Smith, and Joseph Smith. He was beloved by many grandchildren, and great-grandchildren and family members.
Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to the Shriners Children's Hospital.
The family will receive friends from 4-6pm on Thursday, Nov 10, 2016 at Manasota Funeral Home. A memorial service will be conducted at 5pm at the funeral home.
