Blessings to all the family.
Hard to believe its been 4 years.

Our Dear Uncle Bill always made me feel like an amazing addition to the O'Shea  family. 

Part of that was his willingness to always tease me whenever we were together....teasing and telling jokes was his love language! 

Pat and I were supposed to have Uncle Bill and Aunt Joan at our wedding ...but she past away right before our wedding date. 

We have always been thankful that Uncle Bill found a loving companion in our New Aunt Joan.  She has been an angel on earth to our family.

Prayers for all of our family members morning a significant loss, and honoring our Uncle Bill who is in Heaven now...May He rest in Peace and watch over all of us!

Bill was probably the perfect person to be my older brother.  He saw my faults and weaknesses, confronted them, and became my life-long mentor.  He knew how to get along with my Dad, but I didn't.  So , while he was living at home, he was always giving me tips on the best way to communicate with Dad and the best times to approach him when there was a problem.  He also constantly tried to develop (or discover) any sporting talents I might have.

When it came time for college,  I followed him to the University of Toledo, joined his fraternity, and held a part-time job with his best friend and our fraternity brother.  I also spent many weekends at his house, and I knew that I could usually have a car at my disposal for dates or social activities.  He was Best Man at my wedding and Godfather to my first born, and I was Godfather to his firstborn.  On reflection, I think that all shows how much he impacted my life.

When I moved to Michigan for Graduate School, we still saw each other for social activities, football games, many holidays (especially, New Years) and most vacations.

My move to Texas and his move to Florida significantly impacted our contact, but there was still a closeness and a number of memorable visits.  When his health condition deteriorated,  he amazingly continued to be positive and upbeat, and that is the image of him that I will now always carry with me.

He was a good brother, father, and husband.  What more can you ask for?  Godspeed, big Brother, Godspeed!


My brother, my hero. I was a pain in the neck to him as a youngster. I followed him everywhere & often got him in trouble. No wonder he told any cats around to get me &  I unfortunately thought they would. Thus my forever fear of cats to this day. 

I’ve always admired him & knew he was there if I needed him.  In the last 10 years I’ve come to realize how resilient he was.  I never heard him say “why me”. He accepted his life & continued to make people laugh. He made it a point to keep connected to his siblings & was interested in what each of us & our families were doing. He always had an opinion & made sure I knew what it was. Cannot imagine what mischief he’s causing now. Heaven will never be the same!! I miss you big brother. I know you are still watching over me like you always have. I love you. Karen

I'm really sorry for the loss of your dad...I just remember a few times when I was around he would always making everyone laugh...I hope you guys Billy & Kelly (you two are the only two I know) continue to do the same.

Uncle Bill you will forever be remembered for being the trouble maker. It seemed whenever the family was together, which was quite often, Uncle Bill could get a good heated discussion going between my Dad and Uncle Matt, then once it got going walk away with a big smile on his face.  Uncle Bill will also be known to me for never being able to find the street leading to my house when he brought me home from babysitting. He knew it would always make me laugh so I think he did it on purpose 😂. RIP Uncle Bill. Give Aunt Joan, my folks, Nani and Nano and the rest of the family a big kiss from me.  Play a game of poker for us left with your memories.
