Carol was born on October 14, 1957, in Queens, NY to the late Karol and Victoria (Zamblauskas) Brigadier. She grew up briefly in New York before moving to Sandyston where she happily resided for the rest of her life.
Affectionately known as a true homebody, Carol’s happiest days were spent simply, with a cozy blanket, a good show or word searches, and the company of her beloved granddogs, who always brought a smile to her face.
The beloved wife to the late Stewart Conklin, Carol is survived by her children, Julie and Joseph Conklin. Along with her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her many siblings-in-law, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins.
A visitation will be held on Friday, November 14, 2025, from 3 PM – 6 PM at Wood Funeral Home, 16 Main Street, Branchville, NJ. A funeral service will begin at 6 PM at the funeral home.
