Born in Somerset Pennsylvania on February 11, 1937, he lived in New Jersey for over 50 years. Son of the late Clark T (Sr.) and Betty; brother of the late MaryAlice, William and Ronald Schrock, he is survived by his partner for many years, Tania, his three children, Mary Ellen, Chad and Amy, his brother, Joseph; many nieces and nephews, and 5 beloved grandchildren, Annah, Paulina, Chad, Ava and Victoria.
He was a graduate of Somerset Joint High School in 1955 where he was active with the band and Boy Scouts where he earned the rank of Eagle Scout. Following high school, he served in the Army and was involved in Army Intelligence. He then earned a degree in Economics from the University of Pittsburgh. Clark retired from PenElec/GPU where he worked in procurement for 30 years. He was also involved in Jaycees and Rotary for many years.
Anyone who knew Clark, knew about his passion for golf. He was an avid golfer, ran golf leagues and worked at a local golf course for many years. He was also a certified golf instructor and course rater. He was able to visit some of the most prestigious golf courses, such as Pebble Beach and Augusta National to name a few.
Aside from golf-related activities, Clark enjoyed all types of music as well as being the unofficial photographer at all family events. But, most importantly, he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and watching their sporting events.
He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Somerset, PA and later, Redeemer Lutheran Church in Andover, NJ for many years. Our family is sad to lose our leader of prayer for the holiday meal blessing. May his soul rest in peace in the Arms of our Lord for all eternity.
Interment with military honors will be held this summer in Somerset.
