Deborah was born on September 24, 1957, in West Orange, to Gerald and Judith (Newhouse) Donnelly. Deborah grew up in Roseland then moved to Lake Owassa in 1982 before settling in Culver’s Lake 27 years ago.
Deborah was a woman whose love knew no bounds, and whose life was a testament to the power of kindness, selflessness, and devotion to her family and community.
As a mother, she poured every ounce of her heart into raising her children, always making sure they knew they were loved unconditionally. She was the epitome of nurturing, her home a sanctuary filled with warmth and laughter.
Her home was her pride and joy, and she kept it immaculate. Deborah was a lover of music; she often filled her home with songs that lifted spirits and connected everyone with a shared sense of joy.
Deborah was a selfless soul who always put the needs of others before her own. She selflessly donated a kidney to her beloved husband, ensuring their children would grow up with their father — a lasting testament to her love and generosity. Her compassion, patience, and unwavering love will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness and an example of how to live with grace and humility.
The beloved wife to Robert Scott Pedersen, Deborah is also survived by her children, Scott Charles Pedersen and his wife, Sarah and Dana Ann Cibula and her husband, Robert; her grandchild, Corbin Alexander Pedersen and her brother, Gerald Donnelly. She was predeceased by her brother, Michael Donnelly, and her parents-in-law, Robert F. and Nancy H. Pedersen.
