Born on April 30, 1949, Betty was a proud graduate of High Point Regional High School, class of 1967. She began her career working part-time at Lakeland Bank while still in school, later transitioning to a full-time position at Selective Insurance after graduation.
In the early years of her marriage, Betty embraced the joys of motherhood as a dedicated stay-at-home Mom, later contributing to the family by working part-time at Belchers Market. Her greatest pride came from being a loving mother to her two extraordinary sons, Tony and Jon, and an exceptional Nanny to her cherished grandchildren. Her warmth and nurturing spirit made her a cornerstone of her family, and her influence will be felt for generations to come.
Betty was married to her devoted husband, Tony, for 57 wonderful years. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and shared dreams. She is predeceased by her beloved parents, John and Jane DeVincenzi, her brother John, her sisters Kay and Mary, as well as her Father-in-Law Lester Frato, and Mother-in-Law Antoinette Frato.
Betty leaves behind her loving husband, Tony; her sons Tony and his wife Tara, and Jon and his wife Kaitlin. She will be deeply missed by her four grandchildren, Allison, Jayden, Nick, and Brendon, who brought her immeasurable joy. Betty is also survived by her dear nieces Annie and Christine, and her cousin Bobby.
A true spitfire, Betty was known for her candid nature and her unwavering commitment to her family. She adored her dog Ben, and Beefcake, whom she affectionately referred to as her grandson. Her family always came first, and her love knew no bounds.
A visitation for Betty will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2025 from 10am to 11am at Wood Funeral Home, 16 Main St, Branchville, NJ. A funeral service will take place that day at 11am, followed by a procession to Betty's final resting place in Branchville Cemetery.
