Born and raised in Newton, Mrs.Hough was a resident of Wantage since 1961 Mrs Hough worked for the Former Food Town grocery store in Sussex for many years as a cashier and also the scanning coordinator prior to her retirement. In her early years she was employed as a teacher's aide with the Sussex-Wantage School District.
The daughter of the late Alfred and Margaret ( Coddington ) Jackson she is also predeceased by her brother George Jackson and sister Beverly Kays
She was known for her love of putting puzzles together and word search
She is survived by her loving Husband of 60years, William D Hough Jr of Wantage her 2 children Scott Hough and his wife Beth- Ann of Frankford Twp. Michelle Wohlleber and her husband John of Hampton Twp.
2 sisters Debra Havens of Fredon Twp and Brenda Hough of Sussex along with one brother Alfred Jackson of Sussex, NJ Aside from he unconditional love for her family, her greatest pride and enjoyment cam from her 6 grandchildren Jennifer Brandon, Bradley, Kindra Emily and Trista and her great-grandson Ryler.
Rachel was also known for her love of puzzles and search books. Graveside services will be held Thursday June 10th at 11am in The Frankford Plains Cemetery 100 plains road in Frankford Twp
