Born in Jersey City, NJ on June 2, 1968, to Kathleen and Robert Scheider, Sr., Robert was a lifelong resident of Sussex County. He graduated from Kittatinny Regional High School.
Robert found great joy in swimming, losing himself in the rhythm and lyrics of his favorite music, and spending quality time playing with his beloved dog. He also loved football, especially the New York Giants.
Robert is survived by his beloved parents; his brother, Daniel; his cousins, John and Patrick Massett; as well as many other aunts, uncles and cousins.
A Memorial Visitation will be held Wednesday, August 14, 2025, from 6 pm to 8 pm, at Wood Funeral, 16 Main St, Branchville, NJ 07826. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, August 14, 2025, at 10:00 am, at Our Lady Queen of Peace R.C. Church, 209 US-206, Branchville, NJ 07826.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Robert’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
