Albert was born in Concord where he attended and graduated Mt. Diablo High School in 1954. He moved to his home on Old Stagecoach Rd in Brentwood in 1978 where he lived and worked until his death. Albert owned and operated Dias Unlimited where he provided tractor and heavy equipment repair to many local farmers and business owners. He worked his entire life at his occupation until his diagnosis of terminal brain cancer this past October (2014). Albert was an active member of the Brentwood community including serving as president of the local Rotary International. He was also honored to be a Paul Harris recipient, an honor he was very proud of. Albert was the "go to" guy. If you needed help or had a problem he was the guy to fix it, or keep trying until it got fixed. He never turned away a friend in need, or ANYONE in need for that matter. He was known to be a great grill master, talented craftsman, amazing father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He will be missed not only by his family but everyone who was lucky enough to have known him. He is survived by his loving wife of more than 40 years Rose Dias of Brentwood. His daughters; Becky Paulson (Mark) of Concord, Marianne Dias of Concord, Rachelle Schoknecht (John) of Mankato Mn, Stephanie Note (Jarrod) of San Rafael. His grandchildren; Gary Jones (Amber), Sabrina Woods (David), Tricia Fowler, Kayla Fowler, Franklin Fowler, Madison Fowler, Natalie Note, Porter Note, Brooke Note.
