Becky Lynn Trovato (née Bleily), my wife and dearest friend for 27 years, passed away on Wednesday, June 24 after a year-long bout with pancreatic cancer. Becky had an outgoing personality; to say the least, and she made new friends easily wherever she went. Since her diagnosis last year, she had thousands of people praying for her on a regular basis, which speaks to the number of people who knew and loved her. Despite her strong Christian faith, her immense bravery and strong will for life, as well as the significant efforts of her doctors and medical staff, the treatments for this aggressive disease were ultimately not successful.
Becky is survived by her husband James, her son Alexander Ehler and his wife Ikumi, her son Spencer Ehler, her sisters Patricia (Moltke), Doreen (Laufer) and Bonnie (Norland). She was preceded in death by her parents Louis and Elsie Bleily, her brother Robert, and her sister Donna (May).
Becky will be cremated at Brentwood Funeral home. Her husband Jim is organizing a public celebration of her life taking place on Saturday, July 11th at the Bay Church, Brentwood Campus (2200 Ventura Drive, Brentwood 94513) starting at 11:00 AM. He encourages anyone with fond memories, pictures, stories or keepsakes to attend, share, and celebrate Becky’s life.
She was an enthusiastic supporter of many charitable events throughout her life. Tirelessly working behind the scenes, she had a passion for planning and hosting all types of events. Jim asks anyone who is willing and able to donate their time or money to the American Cancer Society to honor her memory.
A Wake for Becky will be held at Chianti's at 3111 Balfour Rd a, Brentwood, CA 94513 following the Celebration of Life - please RSVP to Jim at [email protected] by Thursday July 9th, 2026.
