So sorry to find out about Belen’s passing after exhaustive search ending up on Google. I tried to call her many times and there was no answer.
We were close friends and worked together in Philadelphia many years ago. So sorry for your loss. Would really like to know what happened. Spoke with her sometime in April.

I am sorry for your loss. I worked with Dr Ezaz for 12 years at FCI Dublin. The thing I admired most about her was her passion for medicine and her total commitment to being a good physician. She was my mentor and I enjoyed her many stories about the Navy, which she loved, her extended family and  medicine. Here are 2 favorites: about how when she decided to become a doctor in the US she gave everything up, including her condo and her Mercedes to get a residency and the day she diagnosed 2 cases of lung cancer in the same day. And of course how she always won at the casino. RIP Dr Ezaz.

I enjoyed working with Belen for 14 years and thought she was a wonderful person . I also lived in staff housing with her for those years as well. I am very sorry for your loss. Respectfully Hawk

Dr Ezaz was a very nice lady, we appreciated her kind spirit here. She was a straight talker, and brought a good energy to the workplace. We are sending our thoughts and prayer to the family, and we appreciate you all sharing your love through Dr. Ezaz's presence with us while employed at FCI Dublin!

Belen was my clinical director & a very good friend. On several occasions attended medical conferences, enjoyed good camaraderie dining out & shopping. Consulted her expertise on my husband's CT scans and was so grateful. Last conversation w/ her in early March was planning a get together at her house soon?

My heartfelt sympathy and condolences to the family. I had the opportunity to work with Dr. Belen Esaz. She was my supervisor for 2 years in FCI Dublin. My first encounter with her was when I was attending a CME in San Francisco, CA. At that time I was working in a different institution and told her that I planned to transfer in FCI Dublin. She encouraged me to continue with my transfer application and lo and behold, I got transferred. Thank you Dr. Esaz.
May God grant you eternal rest and let perpetual light shine upon you.

Tita Belen shared my joy in important milestones like my highschool graduation ball, finishing medschool and my wedding. Likewise, I treasure the thrilling stories of her adventures. She had so much zest in life.
You will be sorely missed Tita. ❤️
