A MESSAGE FROM THE FAMILY
On Tuesday, June 14, 2022, David Rosario Fejarang, beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and uncle, passed away peacefully at the age of 83. David was born on September 16, 1938, in San Antonio, Barrigada, Guam. On February 1, 1964, he married Dorothea Leon Guerrero Guerrero, with whom he was happily married for 55 years. Together they raised six children: Dwayne, Debralynn, Daniel, Darlynn, Donna, and Derrick. As a retired Chief Petty Officer, he proudly served his country for 21 years in the United States Navy. He then worked (in civilian life) as a Train Operator for San Francisco Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) for over 10 years. David was such a character and loved to share his stories with others. Whether it was the recollections of his childhood/family, or the many memories from his years in the Navy, or especially the loving tale of how he met his wife Dorothea - he always found joy in reminiscing with others about those times. We will forever miss hearing all of his most precious stories. David loved telling stories, but he loved his family so much more. He cherished every last moment spent with his loving family. Throughout his life he enjoyed fishing, cooking, barbequing, singing his favorite country songs, and taking trips to the casino. David was preceded in death by his parents, Jose and Rufina Fejarang; two sisters, Rosita Tirona and Fidela Limtiaco; two brothers, Daniel Fejarang and Joseph Fejarang; daughter Marie Fejarang; and wife Dorothea Fejarang.
