Don's friendship has meant a lot to me through the years, especially those we worked together in San Mateo. I am reminded of a Bible verse, Proverbs 27:17, "As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another." I am definitely a better person because of our friendship. May our Lord bring peace and comfort to Don's family.

My deep condolences to you and your family and the wonderful memories with iggie and you during our college (Class '66) days as well as over the years, too! Loved his wisecraking jokes he shared with many of us.

To the Ingraham family, especially Joyce,
No words can describe my feelings on the loss of a great man, friend, pal, father and husband to us all. He entered my life 50 years ago and since then, my life certainly became enriched by Iggie's funny antics as well as his wisecracking with us all. He showed us on how important it is for us to display a sense of humor in our lifetimes. I really do feel privileged to have his rapport with me as a roommate at Gallaudet as well as during our ITU endeavors. Iggie will always be in my thoughts. Ingraham/Sanders Family -
I am saddened to hear of Don's passing; the first time I met Don/Joyce/family in their home - I was a child with a 'lost identity' and Don had such a positive impact on me as one of the first adult Deaf role models and I have always been grateful for that encounter. My class 66 friend known as Iggie must have been taken away from dearest family to heavenly home!  My dearest heart goes to Joyce and his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.  God is truly in control. Glad Iggie had a good life and so you, Joyce with him. God bless you all.

During the old college days, Iggie never showed his age. He simply lived young as most of us the classmates of Gallaudet College (new University). I will never forget him while I am still around. He was an interesting person all through my college days. Now you may rest and be with your folks up in the heaven.

I am glad I got to know him when he came to gallaudet and shared the same room with me and Kevin Milligan at the Dawes House.  I sure miss him and may God takes him to His home.

Jason Sorry to hear of your father's death.  He was one of the most nicest man on this earth.  I met him through my deaf brother with whom he was working at the Wash post when Eggie was in town for a short time. gertha wise kurtz (Derwood, MD).
