The days that I spent with Aunt Freda and Uncle Bob and their boys are some of my most treasured early memories.  As a family, we were so close--they were Godparents to Craig and I. We spent time camping together, fishing, walking on the beach at Fort Bragg, and playing endless games of marbles and cards. I have the sweetest memory of cuddling with Aunt Freda and her telling me that, when I came to visit, she pretended that I was her little girl.  I never forgot that.
It was always so much fun when our families gathered. Craig and I used to run wild-and neither Dave nor Vern EVER treated me like a girl--that was FANTASTIC! We explored every inch of their beautiful home, and Grandma and Grandpa's place, too. 
Aunt Freda was the first to visit with me when my daughters were born. I can still remember her giggle when I put a tiny Rachel into her arms for the first time. 
As families often do, we have grown apart through the years, raising our own families, but I always have warm, loving thoughts of her and Uncle Bob, David and Vernon.

We USED TO STAY AT AUNT FREDAS HOUSE WHEN MOM AND DAD USE TO GO OUT ON THER ALONE TIME, I REMEMBER SLIDING DOWN THE STAIRS WITH MY COUSIN VERNON AND DAVID AND WARNED ABOUT THE HEATER AT THE BOTTOM OF THE  STAIRS.,
