Helen passed away unexpectedly, but peacefully in her sleep at her Brentwood home. She was born and raised in Oakland, Ca and graduated from Holy Names High School. Helen was a dedicated employee of the Newark School District for 29 years. Helen was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She is survived by her five children, Jennifer (Bob), Juliet (Leon), Janine (Ed), Jill (Matt), and Vernon, 18 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren. She was our rock and was more generous than imaginable with her heart, time, and help. She was loved greatly and will be missed immensely by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Visitation will be on Friday, March 3rd from 5pm-7pm with a rosary to follow. Funeral services on Saturday, March 4th at 11:30, all services will be held at Brentwood Funeral Home, 839 First street, Brentwood. Interment at Sacramento Valley National Cemetery on Monday, March 6th at 1:30pm.
