Janet Elizabeth Lund

Our beloved Mother, Janet Elizabeth Lund, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Monday, March 30 at the age of 87. Janet is survived by her two sons. David Lund and granddaughter’s Alyssa and Keira. Mathew Lund, his wife Jane Lund and grandchildren Justin, Emily and Connor. Also survived by her siblings Bill Shelton, Patricia Bennett and Richard Shelton. Janet was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Warren David Lund, her parents Greta Ruth Shelton and George William Shelton and in-laws Irene Dorothy Lund and Paul Kenneth Lund senior, Paul Kenneth Lund and Susie Nusser Lund.

Janet was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on January 28, 1939, and moved to Morgan Hill, CA in 1943 as a young girl with her family where she was raised on a Walnut, Prune and Chicken Ranch. Janet attended Live Oak High School in Morgan Hill and college at San Jose State University. She became a stewardess with American Airlines early in her career where she flew on the first flight to land at Oakland International Airport. She was living in LA when she met Warren Poolside in Mar Vista. She raised her family in Saugus and Studio City (So California). Janet was a loving Wife, Mother, Brother, Sister and Grammy.

The funeral and memorial service will be held on June 24, 2026, at 11 am at Union Cemetery and Club Meganos in Brentwood, CA.
