Jetje often made a point to ask about our grown children and when grandchildren came along, she made sure to ask about them as well. She also asked about our aging mother and was truly concerned. Even though she herself had medical issues and each hospitalizations brought many challenges, she was like the "ever ready bunny that just kept going" and managed to " bounce right back". When we thought she would be at home recovering after a set back, much to our amazement, she is in church participating in the services. She enjoyed the church fellowship and Karel was so attentive to her needs. She is at rest now, no more hospitalizations. And when Jesus returns, she definitely will just keep going and spreading encouragement and smiles to all.

Jetji was a wonderful mother and friend, she treats us all like her own children, She’s very appreciative of everything that you do , there’s nothing done left without thanking you for it. She’s an amazing woman full of love and care to everyone she touches her life with; has a unique character that one can emulate. Her life blossoms with a contaminating smile even in tough times and painful situations. She’s a blessing to our prayer group and a model to young people to keep going on, her memories will always linger in our hearts. Love & prayers, Remy &Kevin
