John was a man of remarkable strength and character, with a deep love for the mountains, the weather, and the world around him. He had a unique way of seeing life and a wisdom that touched everyone who knew him.
He believed in doing what was right, always living by the simple words, “Always do the right thing.” His presence, his voice, and his guidance provided strength and comfort to those he loved.
Serene and strong are the fathers who provide a safe harbor for their children. He was that safe harbor—a source of wisdom, strength, and love.
Though deeply missed, the lessons he taught and the memories he created will live on forever.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 500 Fairview Ave, Brentwood, CA 94513, on September 29, 2026, at 10:00 am.
A Committal Service will follow at Union Cemetery District, 11545 Brentwood Blvd, Brentwood, CA 94513, on September 29, 2026, at 11:30 am.
