I am missing you still, with all of my heart! The boys have grown so much and not a moment goes by that I am not wishing you were here to see how life for us is now. Johnathan made it thru his second transplant and is doing amazing Dad! He is so bright, has the strength of a warrior and the heart of his Grandpa.  Jayden has started high school and is in mostly honors and playing tennis. He reminds me of you often, so much drive. They are loving and kind and passionate in all they do, you would have loved them Dad and they would have adored you as their grandfather. I love you and I miss you so much it hurts Dad. You were my rock, my place of comfort and protection, my home, my inspiration for how I wanted my life to turn out, full of love, always helping, with direction and meaningful for myself and everyone in my path. I  met an amazing man 4 years ago, you would love him. He is so loving and understanding and reminds me of you in a lot of ways. His name is Eric and he is a contractor so he’s away a bit but the distance actually makes us so much closer and our time together so much more precious. I am starting work again, took a couple of years off for Johnathan’s surgery’s, but hitting the decks running again and it feels amazing, I missed bedside nursing these past few years but I am so happy I got the time to spend with the boys after our move and during everything with Johnathan . We live in Texas now Dad and have a beautiful, safe and loving home, you would love it, the trees, the land, the boys, all of the smiles, you would truly love it! I love you and I miss you, with all of who you and Mom created. I love you Daddy, I love you so very much and I will not and cannot forget you... ever! We will send your lanterns off tonight , make sure you find them and keep the light so I can find my way to you after my time here has come. I love you, so very much and hey Dad, in case I never had a chance to tell you, thank you for creating me and this life.

We think of you tonight John. Sleepless we can only lie here with our thoughts about you and what all you meant to us.  You gave so much to so many and were truly a powerful and positive force.  Every once in a while someone comes along who makes a difference, You were one of those people. You made a difference in my life in so very many ways and in the biggest and most lasting way of all by sharing a beautiful little girl with me. Sandra now lives on in your memory touching others the way you touched people.  Thank you for watching over us from where you are and for watching over so many of us while you were here on earth. You truly put the meaning in the saying that "The space that separates us is also the space that connects us". You will never ever be forgotten......Savannah GA with our beautiful daughter and grandchildren.......

I was SO sad to hear of Coach Webb's passing! I loved being in his class at JFK and my oldest son was looking forward to also being in his class next semester. He was an amazing man, always happy and kind. He will be greatly missed! Looking forward to seeing you again Coach Webb! Until then, RIP. My heart goes out to your family. (JFK Class of 1991)

Awwww Mr. Webb,  you are such a big part of my high school memories!  You were one of those teachers who the students could relate to. You were always around for lunchtime conversation and photo ops. I send my heartfelt sympathy to Johns family.    RIP Mr Webb

Coach Webb, you were an amazing person I am very lucky to have been able to know someone like you. I never had a class with you but i did have classes that goes pass your wood shop and you say hi when me and my friends walk by. You were the first teacher I remember that greeted me and my friends freshmen year. Didn't know us yet but welcomed us. Your kindness will always be remembered. Rest in Paradise Coach Webb!

Coach Webb, I am so happy you were part of my life. I looked up to you as a true teacher, since I am a new teacher you helped me understand what teaching is all about; to be a true teacher you don't teach with books, you teach with Heart! You are an amazing person that will forever ring in my heart and memories forever. Coach Webb, I can say with ease that you were the most influential person in my years in High School. You not only coached us in football, but also "Supervised" us in Wood-shop. And what can I say about wood-shop? We all spent more hours telling stories than we did working, but still left having learned something. You were a great coach and teacher. You read over my English papers, gave me advice about my girlfriend and even made me Shop Foreman. You will be remembered and missed for a long time.

This earth has lost a great man but heaven has gained an angel. No doubt Mr. Webb is looking down and lifting up spirits from up above. We miss you!

Coach Webb, you where one of my teachers, what i remember vividly is your calm, cool and collected demeanor, i did not value this at the time i was a student only now do i come to appreciate it as i see my own father aging and coming to terms with old age. I'm sad you had to pass on but i'm glad you made it to an age where one can say you impacted many students you interacted with in a positive way....RIP Mr. Webb...

It's been a long time since I've been at Kennedy, but Mr. Webb will always have a place in my heart. He was one of my first teachers, freshman year and then I got the pleasure of being one of his TAs my junior year. I'll never forget him. Future Kennedy students will be missing out on getting to know a great teacher and person.

John always donated his time and energy to the staff and students at John F. Kennedy High School.  He always had a smile on his face which I admired a great deal.  We will always remember the good you have done for all of us.  Thank you.

Kennedy High School has lost one of its "greatest" Titans.  God Speed, John.

John Webb was one of my mentors as Track and Field coach at J.F. Kennedy High School. He was a great resource with an amazing personal history and just a beautiful person.

John is with God now. The loss is material. He is still here in spirit and will live on through our memories and the legacy he has left behind. Forever John, you are in our hearts at Kennedy High School.

John was a very close friend of mine.  He was a huge part of our Kennedy family.  I will always remember his kindness and generosity to all our kids and staff.  I will miss our early morning "chats" in the front office.  God be with you, John.
