OBITUARY

Kenneth William Scott

April 23, 1941December 27, 2018

Kenneth William Scott passed away on December 27, 2018 after a short battle with cancer. Ken was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and uncle. Ken is survived by his wife of 57 years, Nancy, and their four children, Diana Fromm (Erich) of Greely, CO., Cheryl McNea of San Jose, CA., David Scott (Jessica) of San Jose, CA., Trisha Cardamone (Pete) of Brentwood, CA., 7 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, brother, Rick Scott and sisters Maryanne Clark and Penny Strommen, along with many nieces and nephews. Ken was preceded in death by his parents, William and Mary Scott.

Ken loved his family unconditionally and always put family first. Ken worked hard to provide for his family and enjoyed his careers with ADT Security Systems and Lockheed Martin Corporation installing, troubleshooting and inspecting security and fire alarm systems. In his time away from work and into retirement, Ken loved spending time with his family, traveling, going to car shows, and playing bingo. Ken enjoyed being around his many friends at bingo and shared in the excitement of coming up with those lucky numbers! During Ken’s final days he still enjoyed getting out of the house and doing things like going for drive to look at Christmas lights or going to his favorite restaurants. Ken also really liked his “donuts” so we have a special thank you to Pedro who made sure Ken got to enjoy one final donut before he left us.

Ken will be missed by everyone he touched in his lifetime. We will always remember his kindness, caring, generosity and of course his wonderful smile.

It's not often you meet someone who just touches your heart the minute you meet them. Ken was definitely one of those people for me. From the first time he and Nancy walked through the doors at our bingo hall I knew they were special. I can't even begin to explain how much we loved seeing their faces at our hall during each of our sessions. The love that he shared for his family and his wife were undeniable. His smile would light up the room. We truly loved him! Every time I walk through the front door of our hall, I will still see both of their smiling faces. Ken will be greatly missed by all of us at Daub4Kids including our players. This photo is Ken after he won our $2018 progressive jackpot not long before his passing. His smile says it all. Much love and prayers being sent to Nancy and the rest of his amazing family!
