My Grandpa Lloyd will always be fondly remembered in my heart with his (so aptly aforementioned) "bear hugs" and the smell of summer sausage in his kitchen.  He was a man of many smiles and always knew how to lighten the mood.  I'm sad that I didn't get to spend as much time with him as I would have liked to, but I'm happy he was so well taken care of.  Thank you to all who helped take such good care of him.

Uncle Lloyd will be missed by all. He was always fun and a great cook. I will always remember the pool parties. I am very thankful to Aunt Ruth for being there for him. Our love to all, Lynette and Gary.

Lloyd was proud to host the wedding of his oldest son, Tom, and myself back in 1975.  The backyard in his home on Detroit Avenue was the setting and he had made it even nicer with flowers from Navlet's (where he was employed for so many years).  He enjoyed family gatherings and everyone will remember how he liked telling jokes and stories.

I have fond memories of times we all spent together complete with his jokes and laughter.  He was my adopted Dad and I love him.  He hadn't been able to walk, but now he can.  He had been bed ridden, but now he can run.  We are confident, yes well pleased rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord.  2 Corinthians 5:8  I will see you again Papa Lloyd!

I remember how happy Uncle Lloyd and Ruth were at our wedding and when we had our first housewarming.  He would always bring up how much he enjoyed those events and the photos he took.  Uncle Lloyd and Ruth would come in and visit me at Costco whenever they would come out to Bethel Island or Brentwood on their way back home to Concord. He always had that "Reeves" twinkle in his eyes, a great big welcoming smile and that awesome bear hug to greet me with.  Another Reeves Angel to watch over us all. Say hi to Dad "Arley" and Uncle James and get your fishing plans going.  Great big hugs to Ruth and family.  Missing that great big teddy bear of a man!
