Mabel Borrelli passed away peacefully on October 24, 2010

at the age of 88.

Mabel was the beloved wife of the late George Ernest Borrelli. She was the loving mother of Donald Lee Borrelli, Sandra Theresa Lee, the late Lloyd Ernest Borrelli, caring step-mother of George Borrelli, and cherished mother-in-law of Barbara Borrelli. She was the devoted grandmother (Nana) of Nicholas Lee, Devon Lee, and Angie Borrelli. She was the great grandmother of Samantha and Derek. She was the daughter of the late Frederico Cordova and Juana Theresa Cordova; she was reared by her mother and stepfather, Juan Montano, after the death of her father. She was the dear sister of Elvira Jaramillo, Manuel Cordova, Maggie Martinez, Leona Anaya, Sarah Funderburg, Gilbert Montano, Leroy Montano, Johnny Montano and the late Rolando Cordova and Joe Montano. Mabel is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Mabel graduated from Menaul High School in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She met her wonderful husband George and raised her family in the San Francisco Bay Area. She worked at the Hyatt House Hotel in Burlingame for 12 years.

Family was the most important thing to Mabel and she enjoyed spending time with her loved ones. She often spoke of her siblings in New Mexico and longed to spend more time with them.

Mabel had a great sense of humor, a quick smile and an infectious giggle. She was loved by all.
