

Maureen was born to Patrick and Margaret Gibson in Buckingham, England while her father was fighting in WWII. He became a POW and did not see Maureen until she was 3 1/2. She grew up in the tiny village of Westbury, and later immigrated to the U.S. to marry Hoyle Beasley. In 1969, they moved to Oakley, then Brentwood the following year. Maureen and Hoyle, along with his brother and sister-in-law, Homer and Patricia Beasley, owned and operated Beasley Electric for 25 years. Maureen was an avid bowler and active in Soroptimists for several years. She enjoyed bus trips with the Antioch Senior Center, gardening and her weekly pampering with friends at the local hair salon.
Maureen is survived by her daughter, Teresa (Eric) Bustos of Brentwood, son, Trevor Beasley of Fullerton, her three granddaughters, Sami, Madeline and Olivia Bustos, and her brother, Kevin (Caroline) Gibson of Brackley, England.
A rosary will be held on Wednesday, January 11th at 7 PM, and a funeral Mass will follow on Thursday, January 12th at 11 AM, at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Brentwood. A private internment will follow at a later date in Buckingham, England.
