Michelle was born February 4th, 1970 to Alex and Margo Dominguez in San Francisco, California. Michelle grew up in a loving home in Concord, CA (and later Discovery Bay/Brentwood), where she excelled in softball and basketball, and where her love of sports began. She graduated from Liberty High School in 1988 and had a short career with the US Air Force before returning to Brentwood and starting a career in computer technology.
Michelle lived a life with tremendous passion, love, laughter, and deep devotion to the things and people she cherished most. Her warmth and kindness were the glue that held everyone together, and her presence filled every room with love. Michelle’s laughter, infectious and heartfelt, was a constant reminder of her joyful spirit. She had an incredible ability to find humor in the simplest things and brought light into the lives of those around her
Michelle’s love for animals was evident in everything she did. Whether it was rescuing a stray or simply showing compassion for all living creatures, her heart was always open to the needs of animals. Her home was often filled with the joy of pets who were lucky enough to have her as their caretaker.
A true Bay Area sports fan, Michelle had an unshakable loyalty to her favorite teams. She could often be found cheering on the San Francisco 49ers, the Golden State Warriors, and the San Francisco Giants, never missing an opportunity to support her teams through every season and game.
Michelle was a beautiful person inside and out. Her smile was so stunning it would light up the whole room. She cared so deeply for the people around her. She was so kind and passionate. She made an impact on many lives. She will be forever missed.
But above all else, Michelle’s greatest love was her family. She was a devoted daughter, sibling, aunt and mother who always put her loved ones first. Her kids were her pride and joy, and her unwavering support and affection for them knew no bounds. She found her greatest happiness in spending time with her family, sharing stories, and creating memories that will be cherished forever.
Michelle’s spirit will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness, loyalty, and love for the things that truly matter. Her warmth, generosity, and smile will never be forgotten.
She is preceded in death by Frankie and her beloved pets Bo, Nina, and Ami. She is survived by her loving family - including parents Alex and Margo, sister Marina, brothers Stephen (Karen) and Jim (Rae Ann), kids Aston (Jason), Ryan (Kelsey), Bella, nieces and nephews Garrett (Rachael), Chris (Dawnielle), Jessica (Adam), John, Dean, Rowan, Penelope, Chase, Reese, Winter, Willow, Ryleigh, Luke, and countless friends whose lives were touched by her presence.
Though Michelle’s time with us was shorter than we hoped, her legacy of love, kindness, and laughter will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her. Her compassion, humor, and devotion to both family and the animal kingdom are lessons she leaves behind for us to carry forward.
May Angels lead her in.
