After graduating high school, Monty enlisted in the Navy and became a Seabee where he built runways during Vietnam. After his discharge from the Navy, he was stationed as a Reserve at Treasure Island.
During a visit to his brother in the Oakland hills is where he met his beloved wife to whom he was married to for fifty-five years.
Monty had two children, Sheyna and Daniel. Two grandchildren, Colby and Anne and Daughter-in-law, Annabelle.
Monty has numerous nieces, nephews and friends who he loved dearly. Monty was “One of a Kind” and will truly be missed by all who knew him.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Summerset 4 Community Association, located at 770 Centennial Place, Brentwood, CA, 94513. The service is scheduled for November 19, 2025, starting at 1:00pm.
