Our beloved husband and father, Norm, passed away in his sleep, surrounded by his family on November 4, 2015. Born in Arkansas, he came to Brentwood in 1940 and graduated from Pittsburg High in 1950. Norm tinkered with cars and boats his entire life, if he wasn’t in the garage, he was on the delta in a boat. As he aged he transitioned his passion into motorized model cars, boats, helicopters, and anything that went fast.
Norm was the gentlest of souls, and a loving father and husband. He will be so missed by his family and friends. He is survived by his wife, Laura, three children, Linda Berry Preston (Don), Ross Berry, Craig Berry, grandson Gabriel Berry, step-daughter, Natalie Young (Tim) and two step-grandchildren, Jake and Taylor Young.
