

Olive Mary (Pat) Warren passed away on Friday, 20 March 2015, to be greeted on the other side by all of her loved ones who had gone before. She was born in Saint John City, New Brunswick, Canada on 26 January 1923, the first daughter of Douglass Roy and Elmire Marie Melanson Morton. Shortly after her birth the family relocated to Boston, Massachusetts where she received her education. She married Benjamin Maxwell Powell, whom she later divorced. She next married Merle Warren, and moved to Northern California.
Pat’s family was very important to her, and she was supportive and proud of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She stayed up-to-date on all their comings and goings, and enjoyed the visits paid to her. Nanny will be greatly missed!
She and her husband worked many years in the dry cleaning business, and after his death she worked for Montessori Education in Mountain View, California for 25 years. Upon her retirement, she moved to Brentwood, California.
Pat leaves behind three children, Martin and Camille Powell, Springville, Utah; Mickey and Jim Tallarida, Brentwood, California; and Barbara and Joe Rocca, Patterson, California; her beloved grandchildren Jennalyn Powell, Springville, Utah; and Jacqelyn and Taylor Lewis, Peoria, Illinois; Angelique and Josh Raines, Southern California; Robert Rocca, Patterson, California; and seven great-grandchildren, Daniel and Alecia Raines, and Abigale, Benjamin, Elodie, Julia and Nikell Lewis; one brother, Roy and Bev Morton, and sisters-in-law Evelyn Morton and Rosemary Morton. Pat was pre-deceased by her parents, her brothers Victor, Robert, Conrad and Edward, her sister Roseline, and grandchildren Kerrilyn and Martin Benjamin Powell.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, 7 April 2015 at Santa Clara Mision Cemetery in Santa Clara, California.
