Robert Peter Guadagni

Robert Guadagni Aug. 24, 1942 ~ April 26, 2011 Resident of Brentwood Robert (Bob) Guadagni, 68, passed away peacefully at home on April 26, 2011. Bob was born in Antioch, CA to Armando and Margaret Guadagni. He grew up in West Pittsburg, CA, attended St. Peter Martyr School in Pittsburg and graduated from Pacifica High School, Class of 1960. He received his A.A. Degree from Diablo Valley College and also attended Chico State University. Bob retired from RainBird Sales, Inc. in February 1999, as Golf Sales Manager, following 47 years in the irrigation industry. Bob was well known in the Concord/Pittsburg area for playing many years of softball. He coached Pop Warner Football, starting with the West Pittsburg Nomads and then the Concord Wranglers; and he also coached the Concord American Little League Seniors and was a former member of the Pittsburg Golf Club. Bob continued his love of sports by attending his grandson's baseball, football and basketball games. He was an avid sports fan, especially of the San Francisco 49ers and the S. F. Giants. Bob was the loving husband of Carole (Enes) Guadagni; proud parent of Nick Guadagni of Antioch and Wendy Guadagni Schmit (Joe) of Pleasanton; and the very proud grandfather of Adam and Ryan Schmit and Dominick Guadagni. He is also survived by his brother, Richard Guadagni (Barbara) of Antioch and his brother-in-law Ron Enes (Josette) of Jackson, CA. Please join us for a Memorial Service on Friday, May 6, at 11:00am at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 500 Fairview Avenue, Brent-wood, CA 94513.
