He was born on July 28, 1955 in Oakland, CA. Rob graduated from Nevada Union High School in Grass Valley, CA in 1973. He joined the army in 1975 where he was a heavy equipment mechanic and expert marksman. Rob met and married his wife, Sue in 1979. For the past 33 years Rob worked as a journeyman carpenter.
Rob is survived by his devoted and loving wife of 38 years, Sue Hamilton (Silva); loving step-daughter Sandi Baker and her Fiancé Curt Nickelson and grandchildren Hunter and Alyssa Worsham. He is pre-deceased by his parents, James Q. Hamilton and Marie Hicks; He also leaves behind his step-mother Chris Hough, sister Heidi Johnson and her husband Mike Johnson and nephews Cory, Travis and niece Hailey Johnson.
Rob was a man of many talents; he was a journeyman carpenter and expert marksman. He loved the outdoors and was a passionate bass fisherman, car builder/mechanic and painter.
A celebration of his life with be held on Monday, May 7, 2018 at 11:00am at the Brentwood Funeral Home.
