Ron was a great friend and longtime volunteer during the very beginning of the Oakland Technology Exchange at Oakland Technical High School. We worked together manylong hours to help the students of Oakland have access to technology. The project Ron worked on later became the Oakland Technology Exchange West and, more recently, the TechExchange.org when it began serving students throughout Alameda and Contra Costa County, including thousands in the past few years in East Contra Costa County. Even though I haven't seen Ron in many years, I miss his dedication.
