Sharon Mendoza

She was born on November 5, 1963 in Lamont, California to parents Maria and Felix Echevarria and was raised and lived most of her adult life in Hayward, California and later resided in Fernley, Nevada.

She is survived by her Daughters, Corrina, Athena, and Felicity; her Grandchildren, Mario, Thalia, Xavier, Alexzandria, Joseph (JoJo), Ailani, and Alonzo; her Partner, Carlos; Her Nephew/Son, Michael; and her Son-In-Law, Joseph. She is also survived by her Brothers, Jose, George, Felix Jr., and Harold, and Her sisters, Carol and Nilsa, along with many beloved nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will miss her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Maria; her late husband, Jose; her mother, Maria; and her father, Felix Sr.

Sharon was a loving mother, grandmother, partner/wife, sister, aunt and friend. She was known for her kind heart, strength, humor, generosity and the way she always put others first. She loved to dance, had a passion for cooking for others, and spoke her mind warmth and honesty Above all, she poured her heart into caring for and supporting those she loved.

 Sharon’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her dearly.

A visitation will be held at Brentwood Funeral Home, located at 839 First Street, Brentwood, CA, 94513, on January 15, 2026, from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm. The funeral service will take place at the same location on January 16, 2026, starting at 12:00 pm.
