Steve passed away peacefully at home after a short battle with brain cancer. He lived in the Brentwood area since age of 5 years and after attending Liberty High School, worked at Crown Zellerbach. One of his greatest joys was coaching many baseball and softball players at Liberty High School .Steve leaves behind his wife of 41 years, Linda, daughter Stephanie, son Johnny and granddaughter Natasha. The family would like to thank the many friends and family members who have helped them through this time. Funeral services will be held Friday, May 23 at 1:00 pm at the Brentwood Funeral Home with burial at Oak View Cemetery in Antioch. A Coach Taylor Baseball Memorial Scholarship has been established to benefit a Liberty High School baseball player.
