He is survived by his loving wife of 40years, Catherine and his beloved daughters Melissa Byrne and Elizabeth Sand (Mark). His beautiful, much loved, grandchildren Kaitlynn Byrne, Austin and Ava Barneke. He is survived by his three siblings Karen Alger (Joe), Donna Byrne and Gary Byrne (Paula).
Steve loved gardening. He is best known for his love of the San Francisco 49ers and Giants.
