A long-time resident of Antioch, CA, he grew up in Brentwood, CA where he was a graduate of Liberty Union High School’s Class of 1980.
He was a member of the Pile Drivers Union Local 34 for many years. He also worked with Kilgore Industries and Team Gilotti and various other local companies.
He was the son of the late Morris and Lois Bartee of Brentwood, CA. The youngest of five children, he is survived by his sister, Linda Bartee Doyne and brother Gary Reed Bartee. He is preceded in passing by his brothers, Richard and Bruce. Other survivors include his loving girl friend, Christina Melendez, and his fur-babies, Heime and Jasmine. He will be missed by many nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
A graveside service at Union Cemetery, Brentwood, CA, will be held. A brief viewing prior to services will be held at Brentwood Funeral Home. Date and time to be determined.
