

Tony P. Cutino June 3, 1922- June 1, 2011 Longtime Resident of Oakley Tony Cutino passed away on June 1, 2011 at the age of 88. He was born on June 3, 1922 in Pittsburg, CA to Paul and Speranza Cutino. He grew up in Pittsburg and served in the Navy in WWII as a ship's cook. He married Lois O'Brien on Dec. 11, 1944. Tony and Lois opened Cutino's Feed and Supply and Tires in 1954 and for 30 years served many residents of the Oakley area. Tony loved going to Lake Tahoe for gambling and dinner shows. He also enjoyed fishing in Mexico and the Delta and traveling in his motor home to Oregon and Yuma, AZ. Tony was predeceased by his wife Lois on May 11, 2010. He is survived by his two daughters, Carla Meadows (Dwight) and Toni Marie Shannon (Leonard), both of Oakley. He is also survived by grandchildren Aaron Meadows, Stacia Ruffolo, Sean and Patrick Shannon, and eight great-grandchildren and brother Tom Cutino of Pittsburg and sister Josephine Battaglia of Antioch. Friends and family are invited to a visitation on Wednesday, June 8th from 5pm-7pm with a rosary to follow at Brentwood Funeral Home. Services will be held on Thursday, June 9th at 10am at St. Anthony's Church in Oakley. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or Sutter VNA & Hospice.
