

Vivian was born on February 11,1932 in San Jose, California to Irma and Frank Cuciz. Vivian was raised in Milpitas on the family ranch, then went to live in Centerville with her grandparents so she could attend Washington High School. After graduating she went on to work for the San Jose Chamber of Commerce. She met the love of her life, Charles Marriott, on a blind date and wed soon after at the age of 21.
Vivian’s love of children prompted her to earn her ECE Certification and work at the elementary school as an ECE aid. Later in life she became the Scheduling Coordinator for the Continuing Education department at San Jose State University from where she retired.
Vivian was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She is survived by her three children, Stephen, Pamela (Bob), Lynne (Ron), 8 grandchildren, Lauren (Clark), Jason (Stephanie), Trevor, Tyler (Danielle), Katelyn, Kelcey, Morgan (Mahlon), Zachary, her 4 great grandchildren, Autumn, Scarlett, Brett and Austin with another arriving in April, her sister Carole (Arnold) and brother Dennis (Holly), sister-in-law Shirley (Stanley), Ginny, and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband and soulmate Charles Marriott, her parents Irma and Frank Cuciz. She was loved deeply and will be missed immensely by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
A private Visitation and Burial will be held on Monday, March 6th. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 18th at 12:30 pm, Summerset III Clubhouse, 1581 Regent Drive, Brentwood, California.
